01. DOCUMENTATION

Information about the systems need to be kept somewhere. Where that is depends on what it is, how the information is used and who will need it. Here are some options:

  • [Baserow] Controller Index
  • [Nextcloud] System Diagram, Network Diagram VIA PlantUML, VS Code
  • [ERPNext] Work Planning & Control

02. DEVOPS

When it becomes apparent that something needs to be changed, the programming environment and code need to be readily available. Then those changes need to be put in the right place(s). Additionally, people may need to be notified. A specialized environment needs to be setup to accommodate these things.

03. REPOSITORY

Where will the code and other files go? How will it be managed? Who will back it up and when? Who will test those backups?

04. CODE CONTROL

Code and configurations need to be controlled. How it is developed and decisions about how to make changes need to be managed.
