01. Introduction
Imagine your plant, with the several machines and integration projects, all the various installs from the initial to those that followed.
At the beginning it was assumed all work would be perfectly finished and all functions available for operational use.
But that is not what you have today, especially after years of degradation, shifted business needs and a new era of rapid technology changes.
This is where we step in. We love setting up a framework of solutions to provide you with a shot at turning this degradation into something you can control and is highly productive. Our products and services are unique; they span not only automated system technical architecture but also people and the systems they use to manage soft information in pursuit of high manufacturing output.
We provide a digital information, communication, and guidance system framework to supercharge current and upcoming generation mechatronic technician and production operator worker capability as they operate and enhance, your manufacturing and process output.
Primary industry sectors, with a focus on Rockwell Automation include:
- Manufacturing (various)
- Logistics
- Airport Baggage
- Oil/Gas and Refining
- Water/Waste-Water
The structure is divided into (5) knowledge body groups that cover the system architecture, lifecycle care vision, software environment, outcome instruction, and a next-generation digital behavior & systems framework. These groups have been designed to cover end-to-end, all aspects of the operational areas needed for Connected Workers to build out every single area needed to achieve maximized manufacturing output.
02. The (5) Knowledge Body Groups
[1]-[SYS] Short for "System", this is automation engineering, consult, design, service. SYS is the way we build systems in a way that they function to what is desired, are robust, secure and able to be adapted to the future.
[2]-[OPSINTEL] Is short for "Operating Intelligence" and is a knowledge system for guiding what to restore/build. It is a framework and knowledge system for system construction, operation, improvement & technology era/layer management.
[3]-[DPX] Short for "Digital Process-Works", this is a Microsoft 365 / Power Platform / Dynamics 365 software environment to manage the MRO planned, reactive and predictive work processes. This includes the strategy, planning, work and communications. It allows the creation of a software system that forms around the business processes used to build, repair and convert systems and assets to produce for the business.
[4]-[P-PRO] Short for "Professional Productivity", this is a personal productivity, behavioral, and recovery control protocol. It is a quick-action, think-and-do model of continually deepening productivity, order and essentialism (..what is needed, and no more). Showing you how to do it is delivered with high-class service, with distinction & style, allowing your organization to comfortably accelerate getting value from your people. This is instruction for people who want to achieve high performing outcomes.
[5]-[BTSP] Short for "Big-Tech Separation Protocol", is a replacement for the Microsoft systems built on open-source and owned digital systems architecture, and also a behavior protocol to use it. It is a private alternative to the Microsoft products architecture. This expands to provide a structured way in how we use digital devices, applications and infrastructure in such a way that we are effective and not tracked. This also can provide an out-of-band system of applications free of tracking, reduced resources and much of the time, without cost. One intended use of this group is to utilize a computing architecture that is built on all open-source infrastructure.
03. The Details
The framework and delivery approach are highly compressed and very efficient; it includes a quick-action model of productivity, essentialism and survival. This meets the way Gen-Z and Millennial workers are used to consuming information. Things are chopped up in a way for them to rapidly uptake the concepts and ways of use.
Showing your people how to do it is delivered with high-class service, with distinction & style. All for one thing, -> to constantly improve your system, with your people doing the work, well-able to achieve and defend progress.......to enable securing, caring for and constantly improving the entire environment of your automated manufacturing systems.
In short, let's make it so the manager(s)-can-sleep, production operators have control and information, and executives can have confidence they are able to steer the ship.
WHAT WE DO : Through a structured program, we help automated manufacturing and process system managers get control by;
(1) guiding your people,
(2) providing an information system platform and
(3) drive the initial planning->execution of the work to get you going and build momentum.
HOW WE DO IT : This is a family of creative efforts. We take things that are deficient or missing and make it right. In simplest terms, we provide :
(1) Direct instruction through strong ownership of creating capability with your people
(2) Structured information learning system that follows the direct instruction
(3) Collaboration with other SME's as needed, depending on your specific situation

WARNING: Don’t lose control of your systems due to loss of your best people.
06. The Architecture
1. PERSONAL SYSTEM; Each worker needs a Calendar, Tasks Control System, Ad-hoc Notes System and Advanced Planner. These elements need to be localized to the business context, and relatable to colleagues. And today, there is a need to train groups of people on how to use them for their own efficient use and in collaboration with others.
2. TEAMS/GROUPS; Collaboration is very important. This area is setup to enable operation of teams, along with rules of useful-operation.
3. FILESYSTEM/REPO; There are many documents and files that need to be stored, managed and possible version controlled. Microsoft OneDrive, Sharepoint and Azure Devops are options here. Also, Nextcloud has effective file synchronization. Another option is direct/local synchronization.
4. WORK CONTROL & RECORDING; There a handful of advanced options for keeping track of and planning your work. Examples are Microsoft Azure-Devops, Microsoft Project, Nextcloud Deck, Nextcloud Tasks, ERPNext Projects, etc. Progression to the CMMS has a mapping and interoperability.
5. DEVICE MANAGERS; To keep track of controllers/PLC’s, Networks, etc, a table of those units with related details is necessary.
6. DIAGRAMS; Knowing what you have is important for protection, changes and troubleshooting. You will need network diagrams, machine layout diagrams and various logic diagrams.
7. GUIDES; Your people need to follow your instructions. Ready-to-access guides are used to control behavior and make quick changes to be agile with changing conditions.
8. PRODUCTIVITY TECHNIQUES; Work gets done by principle and discipline. We can drive both. Helping works stay productive in uncomfortable environments can be tricky. We can help with that.
9. SELF-CONTROL TECHNIQUES; Your people need to be smart, strong and disciplined on the inside. We can help remind them of what they are capable of with encouragement, issue work-through and education.
10. SAMPLE JOB DESCRIPTIONS; Mechatronic Technician | Maintenance Planner | Maintenance Manager
11. KNOWLEDGEBODY TRAINING; System (Design Patterns) | OPSINTEL (Incremental Upgrade Protocol) | EPX (ERPNext Architecture & Use) | P-PRO (Professional Productivity) | BTSP (Big Tech Separation Protocol)
12. COMPUTING DEVICE SETUPS; Dell 7230 Rugged Tablet, Android Tablet, Apple Devices, Win11 / Linux / Custom ROM's
13. COMPUTING DEVICE BEHAVIORAL PROTOCOL; Whether tracking or function, we teach how to use these things right.
14. ERPNEXT USABILITY; xxxxx
15. MICROSOFT 365 APPS & SERVICES; xxxxx
07. What The Frameworks Allow You To Accomplish
- COMPLETE STORED DOCUMENTATION; Everything your team needs has a place, and they know it.
- CONSTANT CONTROLLED DEVELOPMENT; As various needs are uncovered, it becomes necessary to be able to make changes to keep up with new ways of having to produce.
- SECURED FILE STORAGE; Many files are used to create designs, keep information and beyond. We help create an organized environment for keeping these.
- CODE CONTROLLED; The code files of the PLC's, HMI's and other controllers need to be carefully kept.
- CONTROLLED CHANGE; When changes are made, they must be sufficient and complete. Notification to various parties are needed. We provide a place to keep the process, an environment to operate the process and a means to notify as changes are made.
- CYBERSECURITY THREADED; The best ways to get anything done is for that work to be integrated with the core activity.
- EXPANSIVE VISUALIZATION; Properly build visualization systems provide a sense of things very quickly. With those devices already in place, they may as well be maximized.
- EXPANSIVE ANALYTICS; The processes provide information, that information needs to be stored as data, and that data needs to be turned into conclusions.
- INDUSTRY 4.0/IIOT PROGRESSION; There has been a progression to what has been marketed as Industry 4.0 and IIOT. This shift seeks to move intelligence about the processes to where the machines are moving. Another key point is bringing in more information to paint a picture of what is going on and even to predict what the current conditions will create in the future.
- CLEANED & CONTROLLED ELECTRICAL CABINETS; The least interesting part of all this; the electrical cabinets need their own care program.
- INFORMATION SYSTEMS; There must be a system in place to keep track of the information. Both one for process information, one for static file information, and one for work planning & control.
- HARMONIZED EXPANSION among mechatronic engineers, maintenance planners, maintenance managers, and executives
HOW TO SETUP...
Because of the flexibility of how systems get setup, we will need to talk about what you have. Through that discussion we both can determine how to architect the way forward.
